Listing a space
Getting started
- Once you've signed up/signed in as a host, select "Post a new listing" from the top bar
- Select your Listing type from the drop down menu. There are two options, hourly and daily. This will determine how you will be able to price your listing. For most hosts, we recommend selecting the "Daily Rental" option
- Select your Category type from the drop down menu. Currently, WSTED SPACE permits four options: Garage Space, Driveway Space, Commercial Space, and Residential Space
- The garage space option is for hosts who are renting out a part of all of their garage
- The driveway space option is for hosts who are renting out a part of all of their driveway
- The commercial space option is for hosts who are renting out a part or whole of an existing commercial facility, like a warehouse or retail backroom
- The residential space option is for hosts who are renting out a spare closet, basement, or room for storage purposes
- Select your Subcategory type from the drop down menu. The options you will see here depend on the Category type you selected
- Input your Listing title into the text box. For listing title best practices, we recommend checking out this article
- Input your Listing description into the text box
- Select the Amenities your space offers. For example, if your space is climate controlled, or if you'll provide a lock & key to the user renting your space
- Write any Additional details into the text box. This should include any additional information that your renter should know before booking. For example, if you require the renter to book your space for at least three months, you would input that information into the text field
Location
- In the Address field, input the address of your space. Note: PO boxes are not acceptable addresses
- In the Apt, suite, or building # optional field, input your information if the space you are renting out will be in an apartment or suite.
- Note: If you are currently renting your living space, you will need to provide proof that you are permitted to sublease the space. For more information, see Getting verified with WSTED SPACE
Pricing your listing
- In the pricing field, select how much you'd like to price your listing for. Depending on whether you selected Hourly or Daily rental previously, you will be prompted to either input price per day or price per hour

Availability
- WSTED SPACE allows hosts to have complete control over the availability of their listing. In this field, you'll be able to set a default schedule for your listing.
- Select Set default schedule
- In the form fields, select your time zone and Weekly default schedule
- If necessary, you can add an availability exception to your default schedule.
- Note: You can modify the availability of your listing at any time, prior to accepting a booking
Add Photos
- Select the box + Add a photo
- We recommend adding 2-3 photos in high-quality JPG or PNG format.

Publishing your listing & verification process
- Once you're all set, select the Publish listing button ... and voilà! Congratulations, you've created your listing. You'll be taken automatically to your listing page
- Your listing is now pending verification. Even if you've been verified by WSTED SPACE for another listing, you will still need to verify the new listing
